Where did those couple of months go? It only seems like yesterday I was trudging out of the Aviva with the sound of Sligo fans celebrating ringing in my ears. We retired to The Vintage slightly disappointed but still smug in the knowledge that 2 weeks previously we had clinched our first league title in 16 years. It was a nervy night in Bray but on the back of the last series of the games, I don't think we could have expected anything different.
When it appeared that Rovers would be cruising to the championship, things took a turn for the worst on a rainy night (seems that they're always rainy) in Dundalk. So its fitting that our first competitive game of the season is in Oriel Park. With both teams making some big signings in the off season, it will be a good early indication of how we have progressed. See you all there. KOH
